Kim Koubek is an Arizona wildlife photographer whose passion for nature grew after moving to the state in 2008. Drawn to the Salt River wild horses in recent years, she seeks to capture their beauty, strength, individuality, and family bonds while emphasizing their freedom and place in Arizona’s history. Her photography also takes her across the country, documenting wildlife from Alaska’s brown bears to the grizzlies, bison, and moose of Yellowstone.
